Kel Commenced work as a Valuer in 1974 with the Australian Valuation Office (Federal Government). In 1994, Kel developed a valuation firm as a division of Richardson and Wrench Real Estate, which in 2002 became Stanley Thompson Valuers – a specialist Valuation firm.
In 2007, Stanley Thompson Valuers formed part of a newly created National Company known as Propell National Valuers, which is now considered one of the largest national valuation companies in Australia employing in excess of 200 staff and having some 20 offices nationally. Kel is a founding Director of Propell and from 2006 until 2011 was Managing Director for both South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Kel is a former sole director and owner of LJ Hooker Commercial, a business he relinquished in 2010 to focus on the national business of Propell.
In 2012 Kel established Spencer Property Group with a vision to create value for investors through careful selection and management of commercial property. At Spencer Property Group, Kel continues to seek new investment opportunities that met a critical selection criteria.
James has over 12 years of commercial real estate and transactional experience in South Australia and Victoria. Before taking on the role of General Manager of Spencer Property Group, James worked as a senior executive at major agencies Fitzroy’s and Colliers International. Over that time James specialised in transacting on various asset classes including existing & pre-leasing shopping centres, high-street retail, office and industrial assets.
At Spencer Property Group James responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating on new investment & development stock as well as upholding and enhancing the group’s existing portfolio through strategic management and leasing.
James is a registered land agent in South Australia, Estate agent in Victoria and completed his Bachelor of Business (Property) at the University of South Australia
